REASOLIHULLBRANCH

The REA Solihull Branch is for people who are currently receiving a pension from either National Grid UK Pension Scheme or Cadent Pension Scheme, having previously worked for British Gas (later to become Transco plc) in the Solihull Area.

 

This Association currently has approximately 380 members, most of whom live in or close to the Solihull area, with others living in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. However, we do have some members who have chosen to remain members of this Association despite moving out of the area to various locations within the UK. Once a year, following the Association's Annual General Meeting, a newsletter is posted to members, giving details of our elected committee, a run down of the previous year's events, a list of our forthcoming monthly meetings, together with details of the coming year's trips.

 

The Committee organises monthly meetings, sometimes with a guest speaker, details of which can be found on the "meetings" page of this site. A programme of trips/holidays is also arranged each year. Details of these can be found on the "trips" page of this site. Anybody wishing to join this Association should contact any member of the committee or email the Association from the contacts page. The site is updated regularly so keep an eye on it for any late changes to monthly meetings and news updates etc.
